After seeing the Red Lotus actively create chaos within the walls of Ba Sing Se, I think the idea that they want to bring Vaatu out of Korra/Raava makes more sense.
Back in Beginnings, Vaatu is introduced as the spirit of choas and darkness (Earth Queen death speech) and he tells Wan that hatred gives Vaatu breath.
Not gonna lie, I love making my battle video thumbnails. The results are always…interesting. I don’t think you’ll ever see these three fandoms cross-over again so enjoy it.
